ABSTRACT Certain nonlinear differential equation and transformation

We consider analytical solutions to some odinary differential equations via certain transformation in this paper. We concretely present a generaliged Hopf-Cole transformation and use it to get an analytical solution to a certain family of second order odinary differential equations with an exponential term. We also present an exact solution to a certain odinary differential equation with an exponential term, which is similar to the reduced equation in the Maxwell sigma model.
