A study on the promotion of Medical Tourism focused on the lifestyle Old people

The Objective Of this study is both to analyze the current status Of medical tourism based on senior citizens' lifestyle and to derive meaningful policy suggestions for promotion of medical tourism by senior citizens' in korea. The methodology employed in the study can be summarized as follows. First, the literature survey on senior citizens' lifestyle is made, taking into account the importance of tourism by senior citizens. second, in line with the emergence of medical tourism, the literature survey on the previous research on tourism is made. Third, case studies on medical tourism at home and abroad are presensted in order to analyse the current status and problems of medical tourism. The study is organized as follows. The First chapter discusses the objective and necessity of the study. In the second chapter, thearetical background and for the study focusing on senior citizens' lifestyle and medical tourism is presented. the third chapter presents the current status and case studies of medical tourism in Korea. In the fourth chapter, policy suggestions for promotion of medical tourism by senior citizens are presented. Finally, the fifth chapter concludes the study.
