Abstract
It comes in into 20 century and the music world which is various is fored. Among the rest, the jazz(Jazz) qaite as the field which is unique the place where there is a possibility of doing was various quite and it had a composition culture feature and after masses anger which is music of the original black and it became it was many music and by a development and a change it was pursued.
The rhythm which is unique and improvisational characteristic and expression as masses art of the United States it was had the location which is important with the free back and.
"Rhapsody in Blue" composed with variation structure that subject is established in each section and then it chages freely. In addition, at the finale, it shows the similar feature to typical varition's finale that comes back to the first key and then all rhythms and subjects repeated again.
George Gershwin tried change of tune by using homophony and showed a method to use an unbalanced accent through placing rhythms contrarily side by side and then empathizing the contrast among these rhythms.
As a result, Geroge Gerghwin had succeeded to develop position of Jazz as an "Classic Jazz" through the balance with Classic elements. He also improved the level of Jazz technique and came it up to the high level of art.
