Abstract

It has been more than 40 years since China's reform and opening up in 1978. During this period, the development of China's processing trade has gradually accelerated. By 2020, China's processing trade has taken the lead in the world. Not only that, China's strategy of opening up its trade to the outside world is still being implemented, the tariff level is still decreasing, and some of the relatively closed markets in China are also following the trend and gradually opening up the market to the outside world. At the same time, in order to further develop international trade, China took the initiative to enter into bilateral free trade agreements with other countries in the world. In the process of continuous development of processing trade in China, many problems have emerged one after another. The first thing that bears the brunt is the uneven situation of income levels. China's income distribution has always been different. Whether it is between industries, between urban and rural areas, or between regions, this problem exists. If this situation cannot be solved, China's economic dynamics will not. Active development. Using the data of 30 sub-sectors of my country's manufacturing industry from 2006 to 2020, this paper studies the impact of processing trade on the income gap between industries. The empirical results show that the differences in processing trade activities between industries in my country have increased the income gap between industries, and the differences in labor productivity and monopoly degree of related industries have also had a significant positive impact on the income gap between industries in my country; and the total assets of the industry. The difference in contribution rate has a negative impact on the industry income gap, which shows that in my country's processing enterprises, the low level of labor wages is related to the unreasonable occupation of profits by capital owners, which leads to the widening of the industry income gap.
