Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of practical dance majors' dance flow experience on dance ability achievement and dance adherence, and to verify the mediating effect of dance ability achievement in the relationship between dance flow experience and dance adherence.
This study distributed questionnaires using online forms to 204 students, graduates, and graduate students enrolled in practical dance departments in the metropolitan area and Gwangju and Jeolla regions, which are the subjects of the study. Among them, a total of 202 data, excluding two insincere survey responses, were used as final analysis data. According to the results of the reliability and validity verification based on the preliminary survey data, the questionnaire was composed of 13 questions of dance immersion experience, 11 questions of dance ability achievement, 5 questions of useless intentions, and a total of 31 questions. For the collected data, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and mediated regression analysis were conducted according to the purpose of the study using the SPSS 27.0 program, and the following results were obtained.
First, it is the result of analyzing the difference in dance flow experience, dance ability achievement, and dance adherence according to demographic characteristics. In the analysis of differences according to educational background, statistically significant differences were found in achievement of dance ability and Understanding ability achievement and creative ability achievement, which are sub-variables of dance ability achievement, were higher in the group of college graduates and graduate students than in the group of college students. In terms of practical skill achievement, the group above graduate school was higher than the group of university students. In addition, in the analysis of differences by major, the group of choreography majors had statistically high achievement in both self-purpose experience, which is a sub-variable of dance flow experience, and creative ability achievement, which is a sub-variable of dance ability achievement.
Second, it is the result of examining the relationship between the dance flow experience, dance ability achievement, and dance adherence of practical dance majors. Both the sub-factors of dance flow experience and dance ability achievement showed a positive relationship. and The sub-variables of the dance flow experience and the dance adherence were also found to have a positive relationship. In addition, the relationship between the sub-variables of the achievement of dance ability and the dance adherence was also found to be positive.
Third, statistically, it can be seen that the higher the self-purpose experience, hypnosis, achievement, and confidence, the higher the understanding ability achievement. and It was found that the higher the self-purpose experience, achievement, and confidence, the higher the practical skill ability achievement, and the higher the hypnotic state, achievement, and confidence, the higher the creative ability achievement. In addition, it was found that the higher the self-purpose experience and hypnosis state, the higher the intention to continue, and the higher the achievement of practical skill ability and creative ability, the higher the intention to continue.
Fourth, it can be seen that the experience of dance flow indirectly affects the dance adherence through achievement of dance ability.
