입력강화 및 입력홍수를 활용한 문법 학습이 중학생들의 영어 쓰기 능력에 미치는 영향: 정확성과 유창성을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 입력강화 및 입력홍수를 활용한 문법 학습이 정확성과 유창성을 중심으로 중학생들의 영어 쓰기 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 G시에 위치하고 있는 영어전문학원에서 중학생 1학년 5명을 대상으로 4주간 14차시를 통해 기초 자료 수집 및 설문조사를 하였고, 입력강화와 입력홍수를 통한 문법 학습 후 영어 쓰기 활동지를 통해 영어 쓰기 능력을 조사하였다. 그리고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 입력강화와 입력홍수 기법을 활용한 영어 쓰기의 정확성과 유창성은 입력강화와 입력홍수 기법으로 입력자료 속에 반복적으로 목표 문법을 노출 시켰더니, 입력강화와 입력홍수에 문법학습이 영어 쓰기의 문법에 관한 정확성과 유창성에 효과가 있다라고 볼 수 있었다. 영어 능력(상 vs 하)에 따른 쓰기 능력의 차이는 영어 능력 상위 학생은 입력강화와 입력홍수에 문법학습이 영어 쓰기에서 유창성은 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 영어 쓰기의 문법에 관한 정확성에 영향을 끼치는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 반면, 영어 능력 하위 학생은 입력강화와 입력홍수에 문법학습이 영어 쓰기에서 유창성과 정확성 모두 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 영어 쓰기의 어휘에 관한 정확성에 영향을 끼치는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 영어학습 흥미(상 vs 하)에 따른 쓰기 능력의 차이는 영어학습 흥미가 상위 학생은 입력강화와 입력홍수에 문법학습이 영어 쓰기에서 유창성은 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 영어 쓰기의 문법에 관한 정확성이 효과적임을 볼 수 있었다. 반면, 영어학습 흥미가 하위 학생은 입력강화와 입력홍수에 문법학습이 영어 쓰기에서 유창성과 정확성 모두 효과적임을 볼 수 있었다.|The purpose of this study is to find out how grammar learning using input reinforcement and input flood affects middle school students' English writing ability, focusing on accuracy and fluency. To this end, at an English language institute located in G city, basic data were collected and surveyed through 14 sessions for 4 weeks targeting 5 first-year middle school students. Writing ability was investigated. And the result is as follows. The accuracy and fluency of English writing using the input reinforcement and input flood technique repeatedly exposed target grammar in the input data through the input reinforcement and input flood technique. It can be seen that it has an effect on accuracy and fluency. The difference in writing ability according to English proficiency (upper and lower) was that for students with upper English proficiency, grammar learning did not affect input reinforcement and input flood, but did not affect fluency in English writing, but did affect grammar accuracy of English writing. could see On the other hand, for students with low English proficiency, it could be seen that grammar learning did not affect both fluency and accuracy in English writing, but did affect vocabulary accuracy in English writing for input reinforcement and input flood. The difference in writing ability according to English learning interest (upper and lower) was that grammar learning did not affect the fluency in English writing, but the English learning interest did not affect the input reinforcement and input flood for the students with the higher interest in English learning. It was found to be effective. On the other hand, for students with low interest in English learning, it was found that grammar learning was effective in both fluency and accuracy in writing English in input reinforcement and input flooding.
