ABSTRACT

A Study on the Relation between Middle School Physical Education Curriculum and School Sports Club

There are many published papers and editorials that analyze the impact of school sports club activities on students, which began to reduce school violence.
Many research results show that schoolchildren suffer less violence as they play sports clubs, and that they can find ways to relieve stress from their studies and enjoy leisure time, thus establishing a foundation for their lifelong sportsmanship.
In order to further enhance the effectiveness of school sports club activities that positively affect students' school lives, questions have arisen as to whether they can organize and operate regular programs for junior high school physical education, It will analyze the positive and negative aspects of school sports club activities in detail through a literature study on academic papers on school sports club activities, and will study the relationship between school sports club activities and middle school physical education subjects through an analysis of traditional physical education and curricula.
This study is intended to conduct in-depth interviews with physical education teachers and other schoolteachers who have worked at junior high schools for more than 10 years, investigate positive or negative views and problems about school sports club activities, examine whether school sports club activities, which are operated as part of the club activities among creative experiential activities, can be organized into a regular program for junior high school physical education and the accompanying spillover effects.
The results of the study were derived as follows.
1. By organizing school sports club activities into regular physical education subjects, problems such as tight places and shortages of containers and equipment can be solved.
2. School sports club activities and the achievement criteria for regular
physical education subjects are similar.
3. Managing school sports clubs by organizing them into regular physical
education courses can be a problem that schools need to solve.
