Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of the dance industry recognized by parents on emotional intelligence and to use it as a basic data to understand and improve the social environment of dance instructors in the future. A meaningful result has been obtained and a conclusion is made based on the results produced as follows.

First, after analyzing the differences according to the background variables, the physical and cognitive development, the sub-factors of parent recognition, were statistically significantly higher for men than for women, and the recognition of parents with boys participating in the dance industry was high. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in emotional intelligence.
Second, physical and cognitive development, the sub-factors of parental recognition, did not differ statistically depending on the child's age. However, social development has been shown to be higher in age 5 than in age 6 and 7.
Third, emotional intelligence recognized by parents with infants participating in the dance industry did not differ by age.
Fourth, in the influence of physical, cognitive and social development on emotional intelligence, a sub-factor of parental awareness, physical development has been identified as an influential variable in emotional intelligence.
Through this study, we were able to identify differences in the perception of parents in infant dance. In the past, useful education has been said to be a means of cultivating emotional intelligence by fostering active and social aspects, proper performance of actions in community life, and challenges and creativity in new things (Yoon Jong-ok, 1998). This can be the greatest advantage of dance. Highlighting these advantages will emphasize the importance of infant dance in the future, and expand social awareness of dance. For infant dance development, the following research suggestions are made. First, there are very few male infants participating in infant dance. Therefore, it suggests the program's effectiveness in allowing male infants to participate in dance education. Second, parents' perception affected emotional intelligence. Therefore, it would be a more valuable study if studies were conducted by adding additional variables related to emotional intelligence.
