국악방송 누리집의 교육자료와 음악교과서의 연계 내용 분석

Abstract

Gugak is Korean traditional music. It is not only heritage from the past but also has been developing in various ways with our history. Because of the necessity for learning Korean history, students need to learn Gugak which is established in our tradition. Therefore, it is important for them to experience and understand Korean emotion underneath it. For this reason, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Ministry of Education are running 'Policy of Supporting Gugak Instructors'-who majored in Gugak to teach students at school professionally. This means that it is required to provide students interested and diverse Gugak textbooks and programs so that they understand the basis of Gugak, enjoy it, and value it. Among lots of Gugak-related materials, I focused on Gugak Broadcasting website because of its originality and diversity. I examined the relativeness between the Gugak-related resources from the website and 2015 revised music textbooks that are used at school now. First, the contents on the Gugak Broadcasting website are analyzed. They are composed of different videos and songs(traditional children's songs, minyo, pansori, etc.), instrumental music(sanjo, Gugak orchestra music, etc.), and introduction of musical instruments. Second, Gugak-related activities on 2015 revised textbooks are analyzed. They contains 20-40% Gugak parts and 10-60% Gugak-related activities that can be employed and developed as teaching materials. Finally, I conducted a survey targeting Gugak instructors on recognition of the useful contents from the Gugak Broadcasting website comparing to former analysis. As a result, the survey showed their lack of awareness of the system and low practical usage of the site. Overall, Gugak Broadcasting website turned out to be practical and can be utilized as educational materials on school textbook. To conclude, I expect that up-to-date and more interesting Gugak contents on Gugak Broadcasting website will be developed and Gugak Instructors employ them in education field.

|국악은 우리나라 고유의 음악이다. 이는 단순히 과거의 유산이 아니라 우리의 역사와 함께 발전되어 왔으며, 현재도 꾸준히 다양한 형태로 발전되고 있다. 우리나라의 국민이라면 필수적으로 알아야 할 한국사가 있듯이 음악 또한 전통음악에 뿌리를 둔 국악을 알아야 할 필요성이 있다. 또한, 학생들에게 국악교육을 통해 전통문화의 정서를 이해하고 경험함으로써 국악을 소중히 여기는 마음을 심어주어야 한다. 이러한 이유로 문화체육관광부와 교육부에서는 학교 현장에서 국악을 전문적으로 교육할 수 있는 예술강사지원제도를 만들어 시행하고 있다. 이에 국악분야 예술강사들은 국악교육을 위해 학교 현장에서 음악 교과서의 내용을 중심으로 국악의 기초를 다지고 국악을 즐길 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 제공해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국악방송 웹사이트에서 제공하는 국악교육자료와 초등학교, 중학교 현행 음악 교과서의 연계성을 분석하고 실제 활용도를 조사하였다. 먼저, 국악방송 홈페이지의 자료공간 안에 있는 국악교육자료를 분석하였다. 이곳에는 전래동요, 민요, 판소리, 창작국악동요 등의 가창곡들과 국악기를 소개하는 영상, 전통음악연주곡, 국악 관현악 등의 기악곡으로 구성되어 있다. 위의 자료들은 2015개정 교육과정 음악 교과서와 연계 분석 결과, 20~40%에 이르는 국악 영역이 포함되어 있었고, 이 중 국악방송의 교육자료를 사용할 수 있는 활동은 적게는 10%미만부터 60% 이상까지 다양하였다. 하지만 실제 국악예술강사들의 국악방송 교육자료에 대한 인식도가 낮다보니 활용도 또한 낮았다. 본 연구를 통하여 국악방송 홈페이지의 교육자료를 교과서의 국악활동에 상당부분 활용할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 근거로 국악 방송의 국악자료가 학교 현장에서의 국악 교육에 활용될 수 있기를 기대하며 국악방송의 새로운 콘텐츠 선정에 있어 근간이 되는 자료가 되길 바란다.
