ABSTRACT

The Teacher's Awareness and Actual Conditions on the use of the Class Note using Smart App in the Early Childhood Education Institution

The purpose of this study is to find desirable and efficient ways of communicating using the smart app using the new method of communication by examining the actual situation and awareness of the notice using smart apps of early childhood education institutions.
The research problems for this study are as follows.
1. What is the communication with the parents that the teacher recognizes?
1) What is the general communication that teachers recognize?
2) What is the communication using smart apps recognized by teachers?
2. What is the parent's perception of communication with the teacher?
1) What is the general communication that parents perceive?
2) What is the communication using smart apps that parents recognize?
3. What is the difference in communication that teachers and parents perceive?
1) What is the difference betweengeneral communication that teachers and parents perceive?
2) What is the difference between communicating using smart apps that teachers and parents perceive?
The subjects of this study were 200 pre-school teachers and 239 parents in Y city. The research tools were revised and supplemented by referring to related literature and previous studies, and then used after validating content validity. Data collected for this study were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 program. The frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were calculated using descriptive statistics in order to obtain basic data on the general characteristics of the study subjects. For the research problems, the frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were calculated by using descriptive statistics, and 𝑥² was tested to see the difference between teachers and parents.
The results of the study are as follows.
First, the general communication with parents that teachers perceive is as follows. Most teachers responded that the communication was 'well done' and the number of times was '2 to 3 times a week' the most. The most frequently used methods for communication were 'phone', followed by 'smart phone', 'conversation notebook, and home communication'. All teachers recognized the need for communication with their parents. As for the reason, 'young children life style consultation' and 'accurate information exchange about infants were similar. The 'basic lifestyle' was the most common among teachers' communication with the parents. Most of the deliveries from the early childhood education institution or home correspondence were 'well delivered'.
Second, communication using smart apps recognized by teachers is as follows. Most teachers have heard of the experience of listening to the parental communication bulletin using the smartphone app. Most of the teachers answered that they needed to communicate with parents through the smart announcement center. The reason for this was that 'quick information exchange and counseling for infants' was significantly higher than other contents. Most teachers answered 'yes' to the experience of using the smar tphone-based e-mail address. The number of communication with parents was the most in '1~2times a week' and the most frequently used was 'posting photo of activities of infants'. In the communication with the parents through the Smart Announcement, 'the photo posting of the activity of the young children' was the highest. As a result of examining the degree of comments and feedback in communication with parents through the Smart Announcement, '25 ~ over ~ 50% 'was the most common communication method. Teachers were shown to resend individual replies. Most of the responses of parents and young children to communication through smart bulletins were 'liked'. The most important effect in communicating with parents through Smart Announcement was 'Information Exchange and Counseling of young children', followed by 'Living Guide'. The most inconvenient thing to communicate with parents through smart reminders was 'difficulty to post after selecting photos with good expressions of young children'. The most important thing that should be improved in communication with parents through smart Announcements is 'promoting the importance of communication through smart phone announcement for parents'.
Third, the general communication with the teachers recognized by parents is as follows. Most of the parents answered 'well done' about the degree of communication with the teacher. The most frequently used method was 'phone'. All parents felt that they needed to communicate with their teacher. The reasons for this were 'consultation on life style of young children' and 'accurate information exchange on young children'. Parents 'communication with the teacher was the most frequently communicated with' friendship', and communication with teacher's parents was significantly higher than 'friendship'. The most common way to find out about their children's life was 'phone', followed by 'smart phone notification' and 'SMS'. The following is the communication about using smart app that parents recognize. The majority of parents responded that the need for communication with teachers through the Smart Announcement field was 'necessary' because 'fast information exchange and counseling for young children' was significantly higher than other contents. All parents had experience using smart phone-based reminders. The number of times was "one or two times a week" the most. In the communication with the teacher through the smart announcement, the most frequently used contents were 'posting activities photographs of young children', followed by 'guidance of educational activities and delivering the preparations', 'counseling', 'checking health status and confirming medication'. In the communication with the teacher through the smart bulletin board, 'parent's counseling for the elderly was the highest content that the parents wanted.
Forth, The most important effect in communicating with teachers through smart reminders was 'exchange of young children' information. The biggest burden of replying to the most inconvenient points in communicating with the teachers through the smart announcement was the highest, and the improvement was that 'the parents who want to receive the daily life together with the photos of the infants Expectation 'was the highest.
Fifth, the results of the general communication differences recognized by teachers and parents are as follows. Teachers and parents had a high level of general communication, which was not statistically significant. The number of teachers showed the highest level of 'two to three times a week', while the parents showed the highest level of 'once a week' and 'two or three times a week'. Parents were more likely to use the telephone than teachers to communicate most frequently. All teachers and parents recognized that the need for communication between teachers and parents was 'necessary'. The reason for this is that the teacher has the highest level of consultation on the life style of the infant, while the parents have the highest opinion on the life style of the infant and the accurate information exchange on the infant. There was a statistically significant difference between the teacher and the parents in terms of the actual communication between the teacher and the parents. The teachers had the highest 'basic lifestyle' while the' Were the highest. There was a statistically significant difference in the content of the desired communication. The teachers had the highest 'basic lifestyle' while the parents had the highest 'friendship'.
Sixth, the results of the difference of communication using Smart App that teachers and parents perceive are as follows. Teachers and parents were more likely to be in need of communication between classroom teachers and parents through smart announcements. Teachers and parents were more likely to have experience using the smart phone. There were statistically significant differences in the number of communication between teachers and parents. In the communication with parents through the Smart Announcement, the most frequently used contents were 'posting activity pictures of infants' at the highest level in teacher and parents, followed by' guidance of educational activities and delivery of preparations', 'Counseling ','checking health status and checking medication'. The children's responses to communication through smart announces recognize that both teachers and parents' likes', but the parents showed higher perception of statistical differences. As a result of examining the reason, both teachers and parents showed that "the children can talk with their parents while watching the pictures of the life that the teacher put up" was much higher than the other reasons. The most important effect in communication with parents through the Smart Announcement was the statistically significant difference between the teachers and the parents. In the case of the teachers, 'information exchange and counseling of young children' was the highest, followed by 'Life information', while parents' information and counseling for young children was significantly higher than other contents. As for the most inconvenient point in communicating through the smart announcements, the teacher had the highest 'difficulty to post after selecting the photographs with good expressions of the infant', while the parents had the highest 'burden of replying' appear. There was a statistically significant difference between teachers and parents about the items to be improved in communication through the smart bulletin board. In the case of the teacher, 'the importance of communicating through the smart phone announcement for the parents' was the highest, whereas for the parents, 'the expectation of the parents who want to receive the daily life together with the photos of the infants' .
In conclusion, this study showed the necessity of communication between teachers and parents, and the necessity and importance of communication using smart apps used by early childhood educational institutions. Based on this, it is necessary to understand the merits and demerits in order to use the smart apps in recent times and to use the smart apps more effectively. In order to improve the communication using smart apps as a tool of efficient communication, And educational support for the use of smart phone notices by teachers and parents. Furthermore, it can be used as a basic data for enhancing the application value of the smart apps as a tool for communicating with the households and institutions in establishing educational link and cooperative relationship.
