영화 음악을 이용한 음악 감상 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

Music listening is a basic music activity included in our entire musical activity, and it cannot be divorced from all musical experiences such as singing, instrumental music, composition and etc. Music teacher should encourage the students to become interested in music class, participate the class voluntarily for effective music listening class. Effective teaching method is one of the most popular researching subject of teachers. Thus, many researchers are studying the new and interesting teaching method escaping from traditional one. Movie is a very effective media that can enhance the performance of music listening since it is very friendly, visual and aural. The movie about classic music provides music experience indirectly to feel the beauty of the music and its implication which help students to reach the purpose of music listening class smoothly. This research focuses on helping students to become friendly with classic music and their musical understanding by proposing teaching plan which uses visual media and teaching students with the proposed plan. Nodame Cantabile is used for researching teaching guidance plan for music listening. The reason why listening classical music at young age is important, and why movie is required for music listening class is investigated in the research. For regular instruction of music listening, this research investigates the basic story of the movie, introduces the classic music deployed in the scene, and analyzes the embedded teaching materials. Developed method is validated by asking questionnaire to find out the degree of students' understanding about music after teaching them with proposed teaching plan. Proposed teaching plan produces better participation and friendly response from the students who took the class which take advantage of classic music. In the future research, we can discuss the various teaching materials other than movie which can enhance the performance of music listening class.| 감상활동은 가창, 기악, 창작, 등의 모든 음악적 경험들과 분리하여 생각할 수 없을 정도로 우리의 모든 음악적 활동 속에 포함되어 있는 기본적 음악 활동이다. 학생들의 참된 음악 감상 능력 향상을 위해서는 음악교사들은 효과적인 음악 감상 수업을 위해 학생들이 음악수업에 흥미를 느끼고, 적극적으로 수업에 참여할 수 있도록 동기를 부여해야 한다. 교사들의 많은 연구 과제 중 하나가 효과적인 교수법에 관한 것이다. 그래서 전통적인 교수방법에서 벗어나 새롭고 흥미로운 교수법에 관해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 영화라는 매체는 학생들에게 매우 친근하며 시각과 청각 모두를 사용하는 점에서 음악 감상의 효율을 높일 수가 있다. 그 중에서도 클래식 음악을 소재로 한 영화는 음악 작품의 아름다움과 함축된 의미를 향수할 수 있도록 간접적으로 음악 경험을 제공함으로써 음악 감상 수업의 목표에 쉽게 다가갈 수 있도록 하는 운활유 같은 역할을 하게 된다. 본 연구의 목적은 영상 매체를 활용한 학습 지도안을 제시하고 그것을 활용하여 학생들에게 수업을 함으로써 영상 매체를 활용한 음악 감상 수업이 청소년들에게 클래식 음악을 친숙하게 하고, 음악적 이해를 돕는 데에 있다. 이에 연구자는 영화 ‘노다메 칸타빌레’를 활용하여 음악 감상 수업 지도 방안을 연구하고자 한다. 감상 수업을 진행하기 위해 청소년기 클래식 음악 감상이 왜 중요한지, 음악 감상수업에 영화가 필요한지 알아보도록 한다. 본격적인 감상지도를 위해 영화를 이루는 가장 기본적인 줄거리와 그 장면에서 소개되는 클래식을 소개하고 그 안에 교육재료는 어떤 것들이 있는지 알아보았다. 개발한 교수.학습 지도안의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 수업을 하고, 수업 후 간단한 평가 문항지를 제작하여 영상매체를 활용한 감상수업을 받은 학생들의 음악적 이해도를 알아보았다. 클래식을 활용한 교수-학습 지도방안으로 수업을 진행하는 동안 학생들이 작성한 감상지와 수업태도를 관찰한 결과 학생들은 클래식음악에 조금 더 친숙하게 반응하는 것을 볼 수 있었고, 수업참여도가 매우 높았다. 영화라는 매체뿐만 아니라 더 효과적인 음악 감상을 위한 여러 방법들을 모색하며 다른 여러 악곡들에 대해서도 학습할 수 있는 활발한 연구가 이루어지기를 바란다.
