Abstract

A teaching guide on Schumann's character piece associated with B. Reimer aesthetic philosophy of music education

The purpose of this study is to generate a teaching method of music appreciation for middle school students based on the B. Reimer's aesthetic philosophy of music education focusing on Schumann's character piece . We suggest a guidance on music appreciation by analyzing music works using B. Reimer's aesthetic music learning sequence. A teaching method of music appreciation was researched to introduce students into the aesthetic beauty of music by listening to various music. Students were allowed to understand the characteristics of character piece in the age of romanticism with analysis of two music from Schumann's character piece . They were made to know the thematic melodies, musical element, formal organization and characteristics of various music to make students experience diverse musical activities. We also made them feel the change of rhythm and melody in short character pieces. Maintaining student's concentration and interest is the most important thing in developing guidance of music appreciation. Music learning sequence should be used actively to make students participate in class actively. Iterative learning of beating rhythm, playing instruments and singing songs and model learning were applied. These activities can help students improve their ability of music appreciation and understand musical elements and concept and enhance their active participation. We hope this study help for teaching of music appreciation which can make students experience B. Reimer's aesthetic music education in the future music appreciation class. Educational environment and teaching guidance of appreciation should be developed effectively to improve the quality of music appreciation. |베넷 리머의 심미적 음악교육철학을 적용한 슈만의 성격소품 감상 지도방안

본 연구는 슈만의 성격소품 을 중심으로 베넷 리머의 심미적 음악교육철학을 적용하여 중학생의 수준에 맞는 감상지도 방안을 구안하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 작품에 대한 분석과 함께 리머의 심미적 음악학습단계를 통합적으로 활용하여 감상 지도안을 제시하고 다양한 악곡의 감상활동을 통해 학생들이 음악의 심미적 아름다움을 직접 경험하고 느낄 수 있는 감상 지도방안을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 학생들에게 다양한 음악 활동을 경험하기 위해 슈만의 중 2곡의 작품 분석과 함께 낭만주의 시대 성격소품의 특징을 이해할 수 있도록 하였고, 주제선율과 음악적 요소와 형식구조, 다양한 악곡의 특징을 쉽게 파악하고 감상 할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 곡의 길이가 짧은 성격소품 안에서 다양한 리듬의 변화를 느낄 수 있고, 주제 선율의 변화를 쉽게 느낄 수 있도록 하였다. 감상 지도안의 개발 연구 있어서 무엇보다 중요한 것은 학생들에게 심미적 음악교육을 적용하여 수업의 집중도와 흥미를 유지하는 것이다. 학생들이 능동적으로 감상수업을 진행하기 위해서는, 음악학습 단계를 적극적으로 활용하는 것이다. 리듬치기나 악기 연주하기, 노래 부르기 등을 여러 번 반복하는 학습과 모델학습을 적용한다. 이러한 활동 중심의 수업을 통해 학생들은 감상능력의 향상뿐만 아니라, 음악적 요소 및 개념을 이해하는 데 도움이 되고, 능동적인 학습 참여도를 높일 수 있을 것 이라고 본다. 본 연구를 통하여 향후 음악 감상 수업이 리머의 심미적 음악교육을 경험할 수 있는 감상학습 지도에 도움이 되길 바라고, 음악수업의 질적인 성장을 이루기 위해 교육환경의 조성과 다양한 감상 지도안의 개발 연구가 효과적으로 발전될 수 있기를 기대하는 바이다.
