Abstract
This study takes a look at the impact of school violence and subjective training, differences in the level of damages depending on the degree of participation in training, relations between training experience and damages done by school violence on middle school students who engage and do not engage in Taekowndo training activities in G-metropolitan city. The study targets 430 middle school students who engage and do not engage in Taekwondo training currently in 2015 and utilized 'Stratified Cluster Random Sampling Method'.
The result showed that those students who have participated in Taekwondo training have less experience of school violence than those who have not engaged in Taekwondo training activities. In terms of statistical figures, the difference was significant. Among those who partake in Taekwondo training, trainees have relatively high recognition of the effect of training and subjective impact of Taekwondo activity indicated moderate level.
The analysis on difference in school violence experience based on the level of Taekwondo training students wen through finds that there is a noticeable difference between the trainees in average. To sum up the relations evidenced by the school violence experience and Taekwondo training, gender in middle school students showed correlation between the duration of Taekwondo training and experience as well as level of training. In addition, male students were reported to have had more training experience in Taekwondo.
Dependent variables of gender, experiences in physical violence and robbery had correlation to overall school violence experience. It was found that male students had more experience in violence than female students.
What year students are, training experiences, school violence experiences and subjective training impact did not show any correlation to one another. There was some difference between the impact of subjective training and how much students participated in the Taekwondo training activities.
As a result, this study serves its purpose as factors that can statistically influence prevention of school violence in middle school scenes include Taekwondo training.
