- Abstract
- Since the year of 2004 Hanbit School for the Blind has provided a music-specialized postsecondary program for students with visual impairments. The purpose of this study was to examine the level of satisfaction on the educational and career experiences of the graduates from the music program. A total of 50 graduates were recruited to participate in this study. A trained interviewer asked them about their educational and career-related experiences by phone. Overall, the graduates were greatly satisfied with the education during their music program but modestly with their career-related experiences. The results of this study indicate that the music program needs to be improved to help the program participants secure their jobs.
