ABSTRACT

The Experience of Mentoring Dancing Major University Students Influences on Dance with Confidence and Course Preparation Act

This research examines how the experience of mentoring dancing major university students influences on dance with confidence and course preparation act. Also, this study aims to present the positive effects of mentoring experience to the dancing major university students.
The research was conducted from 1stof December 2014 to 24th of December 2014 by selecting students who have the will to enter university as a dancing major. The research focused academies and schools. G and K region had 170 surveys respectively and in total 340. In addition, excluding 16 surveys which had double, collective and blank entries, the research used 324 surveys as a valid sample. The research conducted credibility test (Cronbach’s α) and exploratory factor analysis (Verimax) for the validity and credibility analysis for the survey. It used correlation to validate the internal validity and to differentiate sub factor. To investigate the difference of demographic attributes, mentoring experience, dance with confidence and course preparation act, the research conducted t-test and one-way Anova. If the test one way Anova has verified that there is a meaningful difference, it used scheffe as a post verification method. The result is as follows by conducting multiple regression analysis and validation of the research model’s causal relationship.

Hypothesis 1. There is a difference of mentoring experience in demographic attributes.
Hypothesis 2. Mentoring experience influences to the dance with confidence.
Hypothesis 3. Mentoring experience influences to the course preparation act.
Hypothesis 4. Dance with confidence influences to the course preparation act.

Therefore, the research result shows that based on the experience of mentoring dancing major university student influences on dance with confidence and course preparation act.
