바이올린 중급과정 교본에 관한 분석 연구: 볼파르트 60 Studies Op. 45를 중심으로

Abstract

바이올린을 가르치고 배우는 과정에 있어서 초급 단계를 지나 중급단계에 이르렀을 때 악곡을 연주하기 위해서는 음악성과 기술성이 필요로 한다. 그러므로 교사는 중급단계부터 악곡뿐만 아니라 연습곡도 병행하여 지도한다. 중급단계를 위한 연습곡으로는 카이저교본과 볼파르트 교본이 있다. 카이저 교본은 각각 연습곡에 대한 연습 목적과 연습 방법을 자세하게 소개 하고 있으나 볼파르트 교본은 연습곡에 대한 설명이 없어 교사가 학생들을 가르칠 때 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 이 연구는 볼파르트 연습곡을 분석을 통하여 다양한 테크닉의 이해를 통한 효율적 지도와 학습에 실제적인 도움을 주고, 중급단계에서 볼파르트 연습곡의 중요성과 필요성을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 바이올린의 기원과 발전 그리고 연습곡의 개념 및 역사적 고찰에 대하여 서술하였으며 현재 우리나라에 많이 쓰이고 있는 바이올린 교본에 대해 알아보았다. 그리고 볼파르트 교본의 전반적인 특징에 대해 살펴보고 이 연습곡에 구성되어 있는 다양한 테크닉의 이해를 돕기 위하여 운궁법과 운지법으로 나눠 분석하여 목록을 작성하였다. 또한 분석 목록에 나와 있는 다양한 테크닉에 대한 효율적 지도와 학습을 위하여 설명과 악보로 제시하여 예를 보여주었다. 볼파르트 연습곡 분석 결과 중급단계에서 습득해야 할 다양한 테크닉으로 짜임새 있게 구성 되어있었다. 조성에 있어서는 단조보다는 장조로 이루어진 곡이 거의 대부분을 차지하고 있었으며, 그 중 다장조와 사장조가 가장 많이 쓰였다. 운궁법에서는 7가지 활쓰기가, 운지법에서는 13가지의 테크닉으로 분류 되었다. 운궁법에서 데타쉐와 레가토, 운지법에서는 손가락 오래 짚기, 4번 손가락 짚기와 같은 기본적인 테크닉은 거의 대부분 반복적으로 곡마다 쓰여 중급단계의 학생들이 자연스럽게 습관화 하면서 익힐 수 있도록 도움을 주었다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로 볼파르트 연습곡의 테크닉을 효과적 가르치고 배우기 위해서는 교사는 학생에 맞는 체계적인 연습방법을 제시하고, 학생은 의식적인 연습이 될 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다. 그러나 이러한 지도와 학습만으로는 악곡에 포함되어 있는 모든 세부적인 테크닉 문제들에 대한 최상의 해결책이 될 수는 없지만 이번 연구 결과를 활용하여 교사와 학생은 효율적이고 효과적인 레슨이 이루어 질 것이라 기대한다. 또한 앞으로 연습곡에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져 바이올린 교육에 많은 도움이 되기를 기대한다.|In teaching and learning how to play the violin, intermediate learners need to enhance musical nature and techniques. Therefore, teachers instruct both musical pieces and etude for them. As etudes for intermediate learners, Kayser Schooland Wohlfahrt School are representative. The former introduces the purpose and method of practice for each etude in detail, but as the latter does not introduce them at all, we have difficulty in teaching students with it. Therefore, this study aims to give helps for effective learning of various techniques through analysing Wohlfahrt etude and to identify its importance and necessity for intermediate learners. For the purposes, the origin and development of the violin, and the concept and historical review of the etudes were analysed and violin schools which are usually used in Korea were identified. Then, general characteristics of Wohlfahrt School were analysed and to help various techniques presented in this school, bowing and fingering were specifically described. Also, for efficient teaching and learning of various techniques presented in the analysis list, notes including explanation were presented as an example. As a result of analysing the etudes of Wohlfahrt School, it was discovered that it was effectively composed of various techniques to acquire in the intermediate step. Most of the songs introduced were in major keys, particularly, C Major and G Major. Bowing was classified into eight techniques and fingering was classified into thirteen ones. As basic techniques such as detacher and legato in bowing and holding-on technique and the fourth finger technique were repetitively used for each song to make intermediate learners could learn them naturally and easily. Therefore, in order to effectively teach and learn techniques effectively presented in Wohlfahrt Etude, teachers should present organized practicing methods for learners, and learners should be awakened to learn them. However, although such teaching and learning can not be always the best solution for specific techniques included in each musical pieces, it is expected that this study will give help for effective and efficient teaching and learning and there will be more studies on the etudes for effective violin education.
