효율적인 상담이 스포츠맨의 학교생활과 진로에 미치는 영향

Abstract

As the sports powerhouse, the Korean soccer team fulfilled the fantasy of reaching the semi-finals in the 2002 World Cup and Korea has stood out in other sports field, such as, handball and hockey. At this point, one of the most needed things among the player is 'teamwork'. In order to foster teamwork between the senior and junior as well as improve their academic scores, athletes participated in a individual and grouping consultations and through that kind of activities, they got much more effective result than they'd expected. 15 athletes, who've always led their team to the semi-finals of the Chonnam Soccer Championship, participated in this experiment and the following conclusions were drew out.

Firstly, through the individual and grouping consultations, the athletes can understand how their abilities affect their team.

Secondly, they realize that they must take part in the career counseling so that they can challenge the realities by themselves and they also know what kind of career they have to choose to play the major roles in their own lives. Thirdly, after the experiments, they reestablish their determination to be a much greater amateur player, national team member or a professional player.

Fourth, there are positive changes in the athletes' emotion.

Lastly, there is a big difference in the teamwork. They show more close friendship between the seniors and juniors. They cooperate and collaborate very well.

In short, there is no doubt that all athletes need a variety of consultations and these kinds of consultations have positive effects on both the athlete and the whole team.
