- Abstract
- As The globalized society has been spread out, teaching and learning foreign languages are required to the teachers and students. Korea also has became interested in Japanese language as foreign language as well as its culture since Korean government opened Japanese culture. Systematic teaching for foreign culture will stimulate students’ motivation and help to achieve the educational goal effectively. It will also solve the communication problem when the interlocutor faces it even though he already has basic interactional communication skills.
This study tries to find out the teaching system of Japanese culture in Korean school based on necessity of culture education which is one of most essential element of foreign language teaching by researching twelve high school Japanese textbooks.
