Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out that how much did the discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales promote the young children's creativity. For this purpose, the questions for this study were established as follows:
1. What is the effect of the discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales on the young children's creativity?
2. What is the effect of the discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales on the constituent factors(fluency, originality, flexibility, imagination) of the young children's creativity?
To do this study, two groups were selected as experiment group and control group. In experiment group are there fifteen four-year-old young children on C kindergarten situated at Mokpo. In control group are there the same type of children on Y kindergarten.
The study had lasted for five weeks, from September 2 to September 25 in 2009 and the groups were tested eight times(one or two times a week).
As to the experimentation apparatus, the K-CCTYC of Cheon Kyung Won(1999) was used to calibrate the validity and reliability and the contents of the picture story for discussion activities don't include the racial prejudice and don't have the fixed idea about the sex role but presented the picture story containing characters who overcame the prejudice about appearance and ability with the children in experiment and control group.
The procedure in the study was carried out according to the order of plan for experiment, preliminary experiment, before-examination, experiment treatment and post-experiment.
After classified pre/post experimentation and given marks, the treatment of data was put in practice by means of the test, ANCOVA.

The results of the study are as followings:
1. The discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales have had effective influences on promoting the young children's creativity.
2. The discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales have made meaningful differences among the constituent factors(fluency, originality, flexibility, imagination) of the young children's creativity. That is, the discussion ones were very effective on promoting the constituent factors.
In conclusion, the discussion activities using anti-bias fairy-tales are the effective teaching method giving positive influences to promote the young children's creativity.
