Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analysis what relation is among investigating high school students career decision process, satisfaction with entrance of technical high school and career perception in the future in order to provide basic materials that can help students make their own career decision, The question of this study were as follows.
First, what make students apply for the technical high school?
Second, what is students satisfied with curriculum in technical high school?
Third, what is students think about career perception in the future?
Fourth, what is the efficiency career education and career guidance in technical high school?
For this study, 288 students from one technical high school in answered the questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with window SPSS ver 10.0 program.
The results of testing on this study were as follows:
First, it proved that, observed from process to be technical high school. a period decision to apply for technical high schools was during the delivery of application for admission and the degree of recognition about curriculum in technical high school was very low so mostly low exam results was the decisive factor in an application.
Second, students being in technical high school felt satisfaction with entering the school and were interested in the subjects in major. It represented that most important thing of curriculum is to obtain a qualification for technical expert.
Third, students career selection graduated from technical high schools was going to colleges related to a major in high school and that caused by getting good jobs. It showed that to go to colleges or get a job made themselves a decision and that factor was their aptitude and ability. Also the standard for job selection in the future was developing possibility and stability.
Fourth, students should be given various information on future society. It's needed to stimulate their interest in career education and career guidance, raise its efficiency by supplying ample information.
