ABSTRACT

An analysis of student satisfaction a diagram and studying effective according to the approach of physical education

The goal of this study is to offer some basic analysis which is necessary for making realistic and detailed learning procedure of physical education by applying exisiting traditional teaching method and modern teaching method to physical education class in middle school. To achieve this purpose, I selected 2 classes per 30 students who are studying in S middle school which is located in G city in current 2008 year and show similar abilities at basic test and conducted some questionnaire and got the consequences like below:

First, when we considered 2 groups that one group was taught in a traditional way and the other was taught in a modern way, I got consequences that the difference of accomplishment in psychomotor domain between 2 groups doesn't have much meaningful relationship. The accomplishment in cognitive domain, however ,the accomplishment of a group which was taught in a modern way showed higher accomplishment in cognitive domain than the other's and also in achievement in affective domain, we could see same consequences. So this had meaningful effects on a group which was taught in a modern way not in accomplishment of psychomotor domain but in accomplishment of cognitive domain and affective domain.

Second, when we considered group satisfaction of 2 groups, one group was taught in traditional method and the other was taught in modern method, although later group showed a little higher satisfaction in psychomotor domain, there is no statistical difference in psychomotor domain. However, regarding satisfaction of cognitive domain, later group's satisfaction in cognitive domain was higher than former group and also in satisfaction in affective domain. Later group showed similar consequences as above, satisfaction in cognitive domain. So, this had a little effect in psychomotor domain but didn't show any difference statistically and this had meaningful effects on a group which was taught in a modern way in cognitive and affective domain. To sum up, we could know that the satisfaction in psychomotor domain didn't show any relationship and the higher score of satisfaction of students in cognitive domain, the higher relationship between recognition of test and the score in affective domain. Also the more score of satisfaction in affective aspects, the higher relationship between recognition of test and the score in affective domain.

Third, student's learning effects and satisfaction in psychomotor domain related with teaching way in physical education didn't show meaningful relationships but the group which was taught by modern method showed the higher score of satisfaction as they showed higher learning effects in cognitive domain than the group which was taught by traditional method, and also like above, the group taught by modern method showed the higher score of satisfaction as they showed higher effects in affective domain than the group taught by traditional method.
