제7차 고등학교 교육과정에 따른 『진로와 직업』교과서 내용 비교 분석

Abstract
In this research, I analyzed the contents of the high school textbooks of 『Career and Vocation』, which were newly covered at the 7th national curriculum. The contents were then checked for their fit to the requirements of the high school education system. Six types of high school textbooks were selected from 『Career and Vocation』 series, and their contents were analyzed.
The research terms were set such that we considered: (1) the contents which should be covered at the high school level, and the contents of career education at the 7th national curriculum, (2) the contents of the high school textbooks of 『Career and Vocation』, and the commonalities and differences among the textbooks, and (3) the fit of contents of the text books of 『Career and Vocation』 to the contents and objectives of career education set forth at the 7th national curriculum.
To approach these issues we selected textbooks to be analyzed, and then authorities to compare and analyze. I selected 6 textbooks which the superintendent acknowledged (In this research, the texts books were written as J, D, H, K, M, B). In this research, I set the analysis authorities to 5 areas subjected in the 7th national curriculum, and set sub-authorities to 3 or 4 contents in the areas.
The results can be summarized as follows: At first, 5 analysis authorities are ① life and vocation, ② my understanding, ③ understanding of varying vocation fields, ④ rationalized career scheduling, and ⑤ satisfactory job life. In the curriculum, 3 or 4 contents are written in the basic areas.
Next, the areas in the text books of 『Career and Vocation』 are handled in each chapter, and 3 or 4 contents are handled in each section. Basic contents were almost same in each textbook, but the subject matter was slightly different. Textbooks H and K focused on theory, while the textbooks J, D, and B focused on activity. Textbook M was balanced between theory and activity.
Finally, textbooks of 『Career and Vocation』 seem to fit for form's sake to the objectives and contents that should be covered at the high school level and in the 7th national curriculum. However, the contents which connect those to concrete jobs are not sufficient, which should be covered more sufficiently deeply and widely since the students spend most of their time to study at school. The contents that connect texts to practical life are also not sufficient and methods to solve these limitations should continually be analyzed.
