파랑관통형 고속레저보트의 경제성 분석에 관한 연구

Abstract

With increased national income for improved living standards of citizens and more leisure time available with five-day work weeks, interest on various marine leisure activities grew significantly and has become more active. The increased interest on marine leisure activities has led to a rise seaside accidents. Therefore, the wave piercing high speed leisure boat was recently developed that can navigate safely even in poor weather.

This product was developed for the first time in Korea and as there are no previous sales of this, economic feasibility analysis is essential to procure price competitiveness of the developed leisure boat.

Data on domestic and foreign competing products similar to this product were collected and a total of 47 boats were analyzed. The common elements of the collected domestic and foreign boats were selected and correlation analysis was conducted. Correlation analysis chose length, weight and price as common elements. Upon conducting correlation analysis, it was found that the correlation between price and weight was relatively large. Accordingly, the weight of the target product was applied in the regression equation deduced through the correlation analysis of price and weight. Computations showed that it had a value of approximately 65,000,000 KRW.

Cost analysis was conducted through expenses actually used for the target product and upon computing the tonnage value of the target product through general tonnage computing methods used in Korea, the tonnage value was computed at about 50,000,000 KRW. Through this, it was evident that the target product has approximately 23% price competitiveness compared to other similar products.

Based on this, market pioneering strategies and the expected market scope of the target product was analyzed and economic feasibility analysis was performed in the aspects of development and mass production investments. The scope of yearly investment for commercialization of the target product was set and the scope of revenue was estimated. It was divided into nominal value and current value to compute benefits. Upon analyzing the costs and benefits by dividing into scenario 1 with a positive outlook and scenario 2 with negative preconditions, both scenario 1 and 2 had B/C ratios in excess of 1 and was thus analyzed to have business value.

Furthermore, it was verified that the tonnage value actually computed compared to the estimated price through regression analysis for the target product had approximately 23% cost competitiveness. Therefore, it was proven that there is sufficient price competitiveness compared to similar products and the possibility for pursuing commercialization to pioneer new markets was also verified.|국민 소득 증대로 인한 국민들의 생활수준 향상 및 주 5일 근무제 등 여가시간이 늘어나면서 각 종 해양레저 활동에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하고 더욱 활성화되고 있다. 해양레저 활동에 대해 관심이 증가됨에 따라 해양사고가 빈번하게 발생된다. 따라서 최근 기상 악조건 속에서도 안전하게 운항할 수 있는 파랑관통형 고속레저보트가 개발되었다.

국내에서는 최초로 개발된 제품으로써 판매 사례가 없기 때문에 개발된 레저보트의 가격 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 경제성분석이 필수적이다.

대상제품과 유사한 국내외 경쟁제품에 대한 데이터를 수집하였고 총 47척의 보트를 분석하였다. 수집한 국내외 보트의 공통 요소를 선정하고 상관도 분석을 실시하였다. 상관도 분석은 길이, 중량, 가격을 공통 요소로 선정하였다. 상관도 분석을 수행한 결과 가격과 중량간의 상관관계가 상대적으로 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이에 따라 가격과 중량의 상관도분석을 통해 도출한 회귀방정식에 대상제품의 중량을 적용하여 계산한 결과 한화 약 65,000,000원에 해당하는 가치를 확인할 수 있었다.

대상제품의 실제 투입된 비용을 통해 원가분석을 실시하였고, 국내에서의 일반적인 선가 책정방식을 통하여 대상제품의 선가를 책정한 결과 한화 약 50,000,000원의 선가를 책정하였다. 이를 통해 대상제품은 유사제품 대비 약 23%의 가격경쟁력이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

이를 근거로 시장개척 전략, 대상제품의 예상 시장규모를 분석하였고, 개발 및 양산투자측면에서의 경제적 타당성 분석을 수행하였다. 대상제품의 사업화를 위한 연간 투자규모를 설정하고, 매출규모를 추정하였다. 명목가치와 현재가치로 나누어 편익을 산정하고, 긍정적인 전망의 시나리오 1과 전제조건이 부정적인 시나리오 2로 구분하여 비용과 편익을 분석한 결과 시나리오1, 2 모두 B/C 비율이 1이상으로 나타나 사업성이 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

또한 대상제품은 회귀분석을 통한 추정가격 대비 실제 책정된 선가가 약 23%의 가격경쟁력이 있음을 확인하였으므로 유사제품에 비해 충분한 가격경쟁력이 존재함을 입증하였고, 신 시장을 개척하기 위해 사업화 추진 가능성을 확인하였다.
