Abstract
Energy Storage System(ESS) is a technology for storing electrical energy produced from renewable energy sources or new renewable energy sources to use when needed. Generally, it is a system that saves the power generated by a power plant in an ESS device without passing it directly to a home or a factory, and then transfers it to a place and place where power is needed in the future to enhance energy efficiency. These energy storage technologies have recently been actively researched and related to advanced technologies, especially in developed countries, with the expansion of introduction of new and renewable energy, the efficient use of electric energy and the stabilization of power supply system.
For this reason, in this paper, We propose a new operating method for Energy storage system connected photovoltaic system. It was confirmed though normal charge/discharge test. In addition, in the backup mode., it is confirmed, that the power failure is dectected and the load voltage operates normally after 16ms.
