베토벤 바이올린 소나타 7번 Op.30-2에 관한 분석 연구

Abstract

This paper is an analysis research on Beethoven Violin Sonata No. 7, Op.30-2. Beethoven Violin Sonata consists of 10 songs and especially, sonata No. 7 shows Romatic elements as a classic sonata. Prior to the analysis of this work, this study examined Beethoven's life and musical characters, and explored sonata's development process. As major characters of this work, scherzo is used in the third movement, instead of minuet, and the structure of the fourth movement became broader, and there are lots of contrasting elements. Moreover, Beethoven expressed it lively by using syncopation and sforzando(sf) to change upbeats and downbeats, and gave it dynamics by changing them rapidly. Features of each movement are as follows. As a sonata form, the first movement has recapitulation and expanded coda. In other words, it consists of four parts, and displays romantic sonata partially. As a ternary form, the second movement is composed of 'A-B-A' and a coda. It also has lyrical melody and arpeggio as major characteristics. The third movement is a scherzo movement as a compound ternary form. Here, scherzo is used, instead of minuet, and it expresses a lively atmosphere using dotted rhythm and staccato. Lastly, as a rondo form, the fourth movement shows rapid changes of dynamics in the same measure. This study is focused on analysis of music and performance in consideration of playing technique, from violin player's viewpoint.
