- Abstract
- Currently the country due to the discharged water. Strengthen water pollution regulations for total amount and the improvement of water quality management indicators, such as BOD, COD, SS, as well as emphasize the importance of T-N, T-P processing.
Due to this, the research on the control of the sewage treatment equipment effluent T-P is actively progressed.
When being the causal factor of the eutrophication, then the phosphorus is the limiting factor and acts as the most major factor growing the tide in the watercourse or appeal.
Current water quality standards for phosphorus in the sewage effluent from 2012 0.2mg/L until tightened according to the existing sewage treatment facilities and considered separately phosphorus removal is required.
Therefore, in this study, is applied to the process of sewage treatment plants by oyster shells to improve the efficiency of phosphorus removal and stability secured.
Dry, and then by calcining oyster shell was used as the experimental material, Jar-test was calculated by the amount of oyster shells that can satisfy the discharged water.
Batch reactor was applied to them, since the continuous reactor operation, examined the effect of removing.
When injected calcined oyster shells in a single reactor was unknown to the removal efficiency increases with increasing dosage in Experiment until the eighth day was maintained less than 0.2mg/L, the adsorption rate decreases after the increase in the concentration of the effluent was found to be.
The results of operation in the continuous flow reactor filled with oyster shells at intervals of 10 days up to 30 days, the effluent phosphorus concentrations to less than 0.2mg/L appeared, and at 15day intervals after the operation, 100 oyster shell filled by runoffphosphorus concentrations 0.2-0.3mg / L was maintained.
