- Abstract
- Titanium (Ti) and Ti alloys are used widely as a dental implant materials and an orthopedic in clinical dentistry. Plasma surface modification can be used to improve the surface properties of commercial pure Ti by coating functional groups to produce bioactive films with different surface topography.
In this study, Ti surface treated with sandblast large grit acid etching(SLA) was modified with acrylic acid(AA) using a low temperature RF discharge plasma treatment and then investigated bone formation and pre-osteoblast cell proliferation and differentiation of the specimens.
