Abstract
식물에서 바이러스 감염 및 암을 포함하여 세포면역의 증가를 필요로 하는 질병의 치료에 초점을 맞춘 지속적인 연구의 일환으로서 인삼의 잎으로부터 3개의 신규 화합물과 2개의 기지 화합물을 분리하였다. 신규 화합물의 구조는 스펙트럼 분석법에 의하여 3,12-dione-6α,20-dihydroxy-dammar-24-ene (1), 27-demethyl-dammar-20(22)-E,24-dien-3β,6α-diol-25-one (2), and 12β,23-epoxy-3β-hydroxydammar-24-ene-20-O-[β-D-glucopyranoside] (3) 로 밝혔다. 분리된 화합물 1 - 5를 면역 조절 활성에 대한 검사 결과 화합물 2, 3 그리고 20(S)-Rg2 는 LPS가 활성화된 마우스의 복막대식세포에서 Inteleukin-12의 생산성을 증가시켰다. 또한, 화합물 2는 ConA가 활성화된 비장세포에서 Th2 반응을 중재시키는 cytokines, IL-4, 그리고 IL-6 을 감소시킨다. 이러한 결과는 화합물2가 Th1반응을 강하게 유도하고 더 나은 결과로 바이러스와 암에 대하여 보호 역활을 할 수 있음을 제안한다.
