A study of X-Ray Diffraction analysis for extremely small amounts of rock samples

X-ray diffraction(XRD) is the one of the indispensable methods for identifying crystal phases. The most common use of the X-ray diffraction phenomenon is in powder diffraction instruments where several randomly oriented crystals in a small amount of powder are rotated in an X-ray beam.
For an unknown sample analysis is conducted by X-ray diffraction pattern by comparison with standard data can be seen that composition.
Typical powder X-ray diffraction to conduct analysis requires a sample of approximately 1g.
Recently, however, paintings, pigments, consisting of stone, a samples excavation of cultural properties is very limited and expensive, complex samples are often very small amounts.
Extremely small amount of materials in modern times come to the X-ray diffraction is increasing the need for analysis.
Varying the amount and size of the rock samples in small quantities with how accuracy to be confirmed.
Depending the type of rock sample of granite, metamorphic rock, sedimentary rock, according to the top ten selecting representative samples in 200mesh or 270mesh producing specimens for analysis were made.
In general, to 40kV, 30mA, however in 40kV, 40mA, to DD samples as a result got a little stronger, but the peak values, 0.005g must analyze the results came to be most effective.
This study in the future, hard to get the samples or high prices obtaining the samples for the X-ray diffraction analysis by providing a way, to extreme the sample to increase the reliability and accuracy of research considered to be, and the foundation for future similar studies would like to raise.
