- Abstract
- Modifications of implant surface topography and chemistry have proven a means to enhance osseointegration, a process that ensures the stability of bone-contacting devices, including titanium dental implants. In the present study, TiO2 nano-mesh(TiO2 NM) were prepared and biologically tested in vitro. Surface morphology and chemical composition of samples were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and thin film X-ray diffraction (TF-XRD). These results revealed that TiO2 NM surface had positive affect on activity of alkaline phosphatase after 15 days cell culturing time.
