Because of the industrial development and the rapid advance of IT convergence technology, modern people's life environment is improved everyday. But, indiscriminate development increased many environmental dangerous fact like as anomaly climate, ozone layer destruction, air pollution, so comfortable life is damaged by those things.
In this thesis, we set a goal of a study on monitoring of indoor environmental at ubiquitous environments for more efficient management of electric home appliances, using Zigbee which is core of the USN technology and sensor network. we made an united sensor module, using sensors which can measure some environmental information. And after grafting an united sensor onto the Zigbee communication, we built indoor environment monitoring system, we can make comfortable and clean indoor environment. Also, with this monitoring system, providing environmental information to home network air convergence appliance, we can control indoor temperature, humidity, , quantity. In this result, we can operate Electric home appliances more efficiently.
This system is applicable not only home area but vinyl greenhouse system, fire protection system, door lock, gate controller, air cleaning system, window switch system. So it is expected that we can make automated protection system. Only, we need more research for communication distance and operation stability of sensor for more extensive applicable range.
