- The address terms are an important part of sociolinguistics because it contains notions of language, culture and society. In this paper the female address terms of both Korean and Chinese languages have been contrasted and analyzed in regards to terms commonly employed between relatives and non-relatives, then to find out the features of the female address terms and social status of women for both Korea and China.
