Abstract
Our modern men are much more exposed to the diseases caused by the chill due to irregular dietary life and frequent stress than before. The chill accumulated due to frequent intake of cold foods and unbalanced body stretching inhibits our in-body circulation, because the chill tends to have our body knotted and hardened. The eloquent examples are stiff and painful shoulders, high blood pressure, disc, liver cirrhosis, menstrual pain, cancer, etc., all of which may well easily affect us, while not being treated easily.
The chill may well cause bony or muscular pain and, the sustaining chill may serve to harden our intestines, impeding the blood and lymphocyte circulations, only to inhibit our immunity. Most of our ordinary abnormal pains are attributable to the chill.
Since most of the diseases are caused by the chill, many of them would be treated if the chill should be removed. Although there are various methods of removing the chill, the researcher notes the Myung Power Therapy. For this therapy, the farinfrared rays will be injected into our body, especially the bones to stimulate blood and lymphocyte circulations and warm up the chilled body only to improve various diseases.
In order to prove the effect of relaxation of pain by the Myung Power Therapy, the researcher sampled the patients through 19-month-long diagnosis and then, performed the therapy for the patients twice a week for 76 weeks; each patient was subject to 10-rounds of the therapy.

The subjects were asked before and after the therapy to fill the questionnaires. The data from the questionnaire survey were analyzed to prove the effects of Myung Power Therapy on such scales of the relaxation of pain as improvement of discomfort, changed body temperature, improved body conditions in the morning, changed dietary life and exercise.

In order to analyze the basic data about the characteristics before and after the therapy depending on subjects' demographic variables, the results of the survey were subject to frequency analysis, percentage and SD. And ANOVA was performed to analyze the statistical significance of the changed values. The statistical significance was calculated at the level of 0.05. As a result, it was found that Myung Power Therapy had served to raise body temperature, improve the pain, enhance dietary life and exercise and improve the body condition in the morning.

The Myung Power Therapy has been used much as an alternative therapy. Namely, it has been used to treat such diseases as caused by lower immunity due to poor in-body circulation or hardened muscles. When heat is injected into the body, the natural immunity is enhanced. Lastly, it is hoped that the Myung Power Therapy will be combined with the modern medicine to help many people relieved of the pain.
