점토를 이용한 THM의 제거에 관한 연구

- Abstract
- The adsorption of THM in the Korean drinking water carried out on the various domestic clays. The effect of parameters such as plasticity temperature, Volatilization amount, adsorption weight, time and temperature on the adsorption ability and characteristics were investigated to find out whether the clays could be used as adsorbents.
Optimum plasticity temperature of clays was 850℃.
Volatilization amount experiment results was almost volatile in 30 minutes at 0~30℃. But After 60 minutes, volatilization amount was just the same to average 138.94㎍/ℓ.
Adsorption efficiency by kinds of clays was Dongyoung clay the best. Therefore forward experiment used Dongyoung clay.
Dongyoung clay ball was characterized by BET surface area, SEM (scanning Electron Microscope), TGA (Thermogravimetry Analysis).
Adsorption equilibrium was reached within 30 minutes. And a case of 1.56g was the best what adsorption efficiency by weight.
Adsorption efficiency When Adsorption equilibrium was reached, was removed 21.973 ㎍THM/g clay in case of 0.52g, 6.761 ㎍THM/g clay in case of 1.56g, 4.143 ㎍THM/g clay in case of 2.60g. Therefore adsorptive capacity of THM was 15.973 ㎍THM/g clay at 20℃.
For applied real Situation, adsorption efficiency by bowl made by dongyoung clay was removed 0.146 ㎍THM/cm2 clay. And in case of bowl and ball was removed 0.157 ㎍THM/cm2 clay.
