Anti₋inflammatory Effects of Natural Adenophora Triphylla var. japonica Hara Water Extracts

The Adenophora Triphylla var. japonica Hara Water Extract which exhibit several bene ficial effects including acne(pimple) and skin diseases was tested for anti-microbial activity and anti-inflammation effects.
The Adenophora Triphylla var. japonica Hara Extract showed antimicrobial activity against Stapylococcus epidermis, Propionibacterium acnes. and Stapy lococcus epidermis, The growth of Stapyloco ccus epidermis, Propionibacterium acnes. and Stapylococcus epidermis was inhibited completely by addition of 10% of the extract.
Based on these results, it is concluded that the Adenophora Triphylla var. japonica Hara Extract can be applied to the acne and skin diseases.
