Buddhist monk's average life span attributes factor

This research was accomplished about the buddhist monk's average life span of the whole 1001 buddhist monk's under the protection of Jogye Order of korean Buddhism who got death of a saint (passed away) from 1970 to 2007. It was compared with Korean common adult's average life span. It was studied How their entrance ages to Buddhism and the life style, the consciousness through questions had affected their average life span. The Buddhist monk's average life span was more or less longer than the whole common Korean's. Their entrance age to Buddhism also affected their average life span, Which was confirmed that the monks who entered the priesthood at the age of their teen or under the teens and forties and forties or forties later were longer than their twenties and thirties through this study. Through this research for their consciousness 70% of buddhist monks were worried about their declining years security. They also had difficulties in their health care because of non systematic programs. They had a lot of stresses caused the troubles in their temples. Analyses showed that the way of removing their stress was not diversified and their expense for their health care was very poor. It also showed that the deficiency of their menus diversified for their sieving of the monk's average life span. The specially uniformed group administration and activities in temples also affected their menu and health care more or less negatively. The Buddhist monk's average life span should have been expected to be 11 years longer than that of common Koreans through the model of removing death excuse. But It was less longer than we expected. More research for such actors should be accomplished. This research could analyze the monk's life style and consciousness which were not known well in temples. I also hoper to help their health care and ascetic practices a lot through this research.
