초발정신분열병 환자들의 퇴원후 치료적 순응

- Abstract
- Objectives : This study aimed to investigate socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of first episode schizophrenia to improve therapeutic compliance after discharge from a psychiatric hospital in patient with first episode schizophrenia.
Methods : After grouping of follow-up and drop-out patients through chart review with 74 first episode schizophrenia patients admitted at department of psychiatry of Chosun university hospital from Jan. 1 2003 to Dec. 31 2007, differences between the two groups were investigated about socio-demographic and clinical characteristics.
Results : There were significant difference in factors of global assessment functioning score(P=.002) and mode of discharge(P=.043) between the both group.
Conclusion : Clinicians should be concerned for global assessment functioning score and mode of discharge to improve compliance after discharge.
