미술치료를 활용한 청소년의 자아정체감 및 진로성숙에 관한 질적 사례연구 : 펠트매체를 중심으로

Abstract

ABSTRACT A Qualitative case study on the Ego-Identity and Career Maturity of Youth Using Art Therapy : Centering on felt media Ju Kyoung Suk Professor : Kim Seung-hwan Design Department and Art psychology major Chosun University Graduate School of Design This study was designed to prove that art therapy has a positive effect on the ego-identity and career maturity of young people by conducting qualitative case study of youth’s ego-identity and career maturity using art therapy. While creating a positive sense of self while seeking to find one’s dream, the study’s significance is to help recognize and choose the path appropriate to one’s abilities and interests in the career exploration process. To realize this significance, two research questions were presented. First, how does art therapy affect youth's ego-identity? Second, how does art therapy affect youth's career maturity? The study was conducted on the recommendation and consent of the director to youth who are currently exploring their career path among students from the S Academy. Prior to the art therapy program, the center conducted the ego-identity test, the career maturity test, and the personality test. In the last session, the same test was conducted as the post-examination, and each individual conducted a qualitative study by comparing the changes. If you look at the proofs of realizing a research problem, First, an analysis of the effect of art therapy on youth's ego-identity showed that art therapy has a significant effect on the formation of youth`s ego-identity. Second, the analysis of the effect of art therapy on youth`s career maturity showed that art therapy has a significant effect on the improvement of youth`s career maturity. The results showed that art therapy had a positive effect on the formation of ego-identity for youth`s who wanted to find a dream in the future and improved career maturity so that they could find and decide their career path. Therefore, I hope that art therapy programs will be actively used to help teenagers navigate their careers in a more emotionally stable environment during the physically and psychologically sensitive teenage years. Subject: Art therapy, youth, ego-identity, career maturity, qualitative case study, felt medium.|미술치료를 활용한 청소년의 자아정체감 및 진로성숙에 관한 질적 사례연구 : 펠트매체를 중심으로 주 경 숙 조선대학교 디자인대학원 디자인학과 미술심리치료전공 (지도교수 : 김 승 환) 본 연구는 미술치료를 활용한 청소년의 자아정체감 및 진로성숙에 관한 질적 사례연구를 함으로써 미술치료가 청소년의 자아정체감 및 진로성숙에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 입증하고자 하였다. 자신의 꿈을 찾아 가 는 청소년시기에 긍정적인 자아정체감을 형성함과 동시에 진로 탐색 과정 에서 자신의 능력과 흥미에 적합한 진로를 인지하고 스스로 선택하는데 도 움을 주는 것이 본 연구의 의의다. 이와 같은 의의를 실현하기 위해 다음과 같이 두 가지 연구문제를 제시 하였다. 첫째, 미술치료가 청소년의 자아정체감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 미술치료가 청소년의 진로성숙에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 본 연구는 S시에 소재한 미술학원의 재원생 중에서 현재 자신의 진로를 탐색해 가는 과정인 청소년을 대상으로 원장님 추천과 본인 동의하에 미술치료프로그램을 진행하게 되었다. 미술치료프로그램을 진행하기 전에 사전검사로 자아정체감 검사, 진로성숙도 검사, 인물화 검사를 실시하였고, 마지막 회기에 사후 검사로 사전 검사와 동일한 검사를 실시하여 개개인마다 그 변화를 각각 비교 분석하여 질적인 연구를 하였다.

제시된 연구 문제의 실현에 대한 입증 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 미술치료가 청소년의 자아정체감에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석 결과 는 미술치료가 청소년의 자아정체감 형성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 미술치료가 청소년의 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석 결과는 미술치료가 청소년의 진로성숙 향상에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나 타났다. 이러한 결과에 따라 미술치료가 자신의 꿈을 찾고자 하는 청소년에게 자 아정체감 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, 진로를 발견하고 결정할 수 있 도록 진로성숙을 향상시키는데 영향을 주었다. 그러므로 신체적·정신적으 로 민감한 청소년시기에 보다 정서적으로 안정된 환경을 제공하여 꿈을 찾 아가는 청소년들에게 자신의 진로를 탐색하고 스스로 선택 할 수 있도록 미술치료프로그램이 적극적·지속적으로 활용되길 바라는 바이다. 주제어 : 미술치료, 청소년, 자아정체감, 진로성숙, 질적 사례연구, 펠트
