To achieve the research purpose, DAP of Oodomoshigeru(大伴荗) was conducted to the subjects who were studying in school or participating in the training course as a pre-counselor to be counselors or beginners having under two- year experience.
The data process used frequency analysis in demographic characteristic of the subjects. After three analysts evaluated Drawings by analysis practice of Oodomoshigeru, they checked each average of the data and found values in reliability coefficient(Intraclass Correlation) and carried out SPSS(V17) analysis. To find Personality factors of the subjects, this study used mean and standard deviation, and examined the correlation in personality factors with correlation analysis. To know Personality factors of demographic variables, this study analyzed t-test and analysis of variance(ANOVA).
The research findings are as in the following.
First of all, the characteristic of Personality Factor variable in pre/beginning counselors had more S(sadistic) factor than others , and C(conflict) factor is followed. This outcome showed the characteristic of the subjects had been more optimistic and outgoing and had strong self consciousness and active expressions in one′s opinion. Also they had the tendency of pursuing social dominance and enthusiasm in intellectual capacity as well as criticism or strong self assertiveness than other factors. On the contrary, there were more conflicts and complexes than any other factor. In contrast, there were not the characteristic of psychological disabilities, developmental disorders and physical disorders. Also there were less obsessive, depressive and schizophrenic characteristic than any other factor.
Secondly, the correlation between Personality Factors of pre/beginning counselors by DAP showed they were passive, intimidated and excessively inferior in complex when they were little interested in others. The ego of the subjects was so weak, selfish and unstable emotionally that they had schizophrenic, partial characteristic. Besides, the more conflict and complex there were, the more frustrated , restless and dissatisfactory there were. Also the more psychological disorders there were, the more depressive and obsessive characteristics there were.
Thirdly, with the result of research in demographics of pre/beginning counselors by DAP, the characteristic in ages showed that the young had less conflicts and complexes than the old. According to the marital status, the result showed single group had more conflicts and complexes than the married group . With the scholastic attainment, it revealed that if they had more scholastic abilities, complex level was less lower. However, the differences of characteristics in experienced degrees among counselors did not show the significance.
Finally, in the characteristics of pre/beginning counselors participation of research study related to counsel by DAP, those who were attended by others showed the tendency of neuropathy and psychological confusion.
The proposal of this study is the following. As the analysis method in DAP of Oodomo came from Freud′s pathologic approach, new research interpretation category should be wide, more multilateral and general to understand the characteristics of the subjects in the future.
In addition, after this study, if DAP research were conducted by experienced counselors including systematically developed method and interpretation, DAP as a drawing test could be a diagnostic device that could examine mental maturity of counselors.
