조선 후기 풍속화에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of thesis is to look into the Genre Painting styles of the late Joseon era. Many scholars have mainly focused on Painting's style or, in contrast, only on history and the context of paintings. Although ideology history has developed even in psychological aspects, people have been unaware of it. This thesis deals with influence and correlation among the context of society, study, and paintings. These three categories approach the late Joseon Genre Paintings in various, integrated forms. Because the Genre Painting has been changed along with different ages and related to national structures which are easily divided. There are compared with Wen Ren hua(文人畵), documentary paintings(記錄畵), and court painters(宮中畵員) to study Genre Paintings. The conclusion, being in accordance with comtemporary philosophy and art history, is a manifestation of a national consciousness and should be evaluated in this context.
