Abstract
The digital watermarking was suggested to protect the property right about the brainchild(music,image,videoandsoon) in the early 1990. The digita lwatermarking is the way to insert the specificin formation such as the successive number related to the data, ID, binary data, etc., to the original data. However the human could not recognize the specific data in the sense of sight. Throughout the way, we could protect the digital contents by preventing from the malicious intentions such as the transformation, copy and for gery of the multimedia data.
The digital medical images do not permit the transformation and loss of the data before consulting a doctor. And because the medical images must be stored for a certain period of time legally, we need the efficient compression methodology about the data. Especially, the methodology to store the ROI(RegionofInterest) data is focusing on nowadays. Based on the features of the medicalimages, many studies for protecting the right of the patient, privacy of the patient, accuracy of the diagnosisand data certification about the medical images are actively being progressed by applying the digital watermarking to the PACS environment and Web-based Medical Image system.
In thispaper,I suggest the robust watermarking algorithm against the geometrical transformation of the medicalimages using the Watershed algorithm. The robust watermarking methodology is being suggested using the several algorithms against the attacks such as the compression, filtering, noise and geo metrical transformation of the images.In these attacks, the RST(Rotation Scale,Translation) attack is being recognized the biggest problem for extracting the watermarking from the images because ofthe synchronization problem between the insertion algorithm and extraction algorithm of the watermarking. In this system, the Template could bedestroyed because ofthe Blurring effect of the RST transformation.Kutter extracts the Mexian Hat Wavelet about the visual feature of the images and grasps the peculiarity point through out the Scale Interaction Methodology. The extracted pointis in charge of the standard pointfor inserting the watermarking by ensuring the rotation strength.
In this paper,firstly,the images are gone through the preprocessing againstthe geometricaldistortion.And then,the watermark is inserted into the images around center of the selected geometrical constancy points.Especially,the methodology is strong to process severalimages and RST transformation that is generated by observing the reading disease ofthe medicalimages.And Isuggestthe Watershed division algorithm inmymethodologytomaintainthewatermarkfrom theimages that are compressed and stored during the specific period.Finally,I implementthe module to insertand extractthe watermark more fastly. Andthroughoutthispaper,Irealizedthatthesuggestedalgorithm ismore steady than other existing algorithms aginst the RST attack, JPEG compression attack and filtering attack about theme dicalimages.
