들뢰즈의 영화이론에서의 이미지에 대한 연구

Abstract

Cinema is not thought to exist in the movie theater because it is too close for our daily life and realities of life. According to the basis of the existing metaphysical standpoint, the trifles, considered as a meager existence, have a powerful leading. So, it has had a problem causing the ontological existence. Gilles Deleuze considers cinema to pass over the philosophy of Henri Bergson overturning the given space and time. Deleuze contends that he makes sense of movement in life as the change of the position in space and time as the problem of thought represented in space. As a result, he categorizes the image and sign in cinema on the basis of Bergson' metaphysics that a true movement and time can be found in a memory having both past and present. Through this process, he asserts that in cinema, movement and time are realized on the focus of Bergson’s image idea. Furthermore, he judges cinema to be the new path into thought perceiving the detailed realities getting out of the thinking of space. He thinks that it has a matter of greater meaning than philosophy.
