- Abstract
- 1-Chloro-1,2,3,4,5-pentaphenyl silole을 2당량의 리튬과 반응시켜 환원시키면 [C₄Ph₄SiPh]^(-), [C4PhSi]^(2-), C₄PhSiPh₂를 얻을 수 있다. 반응 혼합물의 ^(29)Si NMR의 측정을 통해서 2, 3 과 4가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 2의 ^(29)Si의 Chemical Shift는 3.7ppm이었고 이는 이미 보고 된바 있는 t-butyltetra phenylsilole anion과 비교했을 때 downfiled에서 나온 것이었다. 이는 5원자 고리를 통하여 silole anion이 비편재화 되어있음을 암시해준다.
반응 혼합물과 아이오도메테인과 반응시켜서 유도체를 형성하면 C₄Ph₄SiPh₂, C₄PhSiMePh과 C₄Ph₄SiMe₂가 형성되었음을 ^(29)Si NMR과 ¹H, ^(13)C의 NMR을 통해서 알 수 있었다. Silole dianion인 3은 1에 Li을 첨가하거나 2의 불균등화 반응으로부터 얻어졌다고 생각된다. THF 용매 하에서 1과 과량의 Li의 환원반응에 의해서 약 70%의 silole dianion을 얻었다.|The reduction of 1-chloro-1,2,3,4,5-pentaphenylsilole, (C₄Ph₄SiPhCl, 1) with 2 equiv. lithium gave the pentaphenylsilole anion [C₄Ph₄SiPh]^(-) (2), silole dianion [C₄Ph₄Si]^(2-) (3), and hexaphenylsilole C₄Ph₄SiPh₂ (4). 2, 3, and 4 from the reaction mixture were characterized by ^(29)Si NMR spectroscopy. The ^(29)Si chemical shift of 3.7 ppm for 2 is shifted upfield as compared to that of previously reported t-butyltetraphenylsilole anion Li[C₄Ph₄SitBu], but shifted downfield compared to that of the other silole monoanion such as Li[C₄Me₄SiSiMe₃], indicating the delocalization of silole anion through the 5-membered ring. Derivatization of the reaction mixture with iodomathane gave C₄Ph₄SiPh₂ (4), C₄Ph₄SiMePh (5), and C₄Ph₄SiMe₂ (6), which were charaterized by ¹H, ^(13)C, and ^(29)Si NMR spectroscopy.
The silole dianion 3 could be either from the continuous reduction of 1 with lithium or from the disproportionation of 2. The reduction of 1 with excess lithium in THF gave the silole dianion [C₄Ph₄Si]^(2-) in about 70% yield.
