EVA나노복합재료를 이용한 폴리올레핀 발포체의 난연성 증진에 관한 연구

Abstract
The improvement of flame retardancy of the foams based on Polyolenfin/EVA nanocomposites compounds was conducted by formulating various materials such as PE, EVA, EVA nanocomposites, inorganic containing flame retardants, foaming agent, cross-linking agent and activator. The materials were mixed by using a reomixer and were compression-molded using a hot-press. The molded samples were cross-linked and foamed in the oven. The foaming properties (morphology, expandability) and flame retardancy (LOI, HRR, thermal stability) of the specimens were investigated using SEM, micrometer, LOI tester, TGA and cone calorimeter. The residue of the samples after thermal decomposition was in the range of 37~40wt%. The limiting oxygen indices of the samples were in the range of 30.3~31.2 which are higher than that of a conventional foam product (29.7). The foamed sample also showed relatively unifoam and closed cell structure.
