안토니 타피에스(Antoni tápies) 의 회화 硏究 - 作品에 나타난 表現 方法을 중심으로

Abstract

20세기 현대 미술은 자유분방한 표현방법으로 예술가에게 무한한 상상력을 제공하고 있기 때문에 예술 작품에 나타나는 다양한 표현방법은 현대 미술을 이해하기 위해서 알아야 할 중요한 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 현대 예술 작가의 한 사람으로 본 논문에서는 다양한 예술적 독창성을 작품으로 표현하며 현대 미술 영역을 확대하는데 큰 공헌을 한 안토니 따삐에스(Antoni Tapies: 1923~ 스페인 출생)의 회화 예술 세계를 연구 하고자 한다. 따삐에스는 누구보다도 다양한 회화기법으로 독특한 소재를 작품에 사용함으로서 재료에 대한 한계성을 극복하고 작품에 모래, 니스, 대리석 가루들을 혼합한 재료를 사용하거나, 색체를 사용하는 대신 뚫거나 자르거나 긁어내는 방법으로 다양한 표면의 효과를 작품 표현 양식에 나타내므로 독창성과 다양성을 추구하고 있다. 따삐에스의 작가로서 정신세계를 형성한 바로셀로나에서의 성장 과정과 주요 사상적 배경인 까따루니아 정신과 동양 사상의 영향이 작품에 미치는 영향과 저항적이며 자유로운 민족주의적 지역정신과 서양화에서 흔희 볼 수 없었던 동양의 여백 사상과 만남에서 느낀 선의 깨달음은 작가 스스로의 창의성을 증가 시키고 있으며 초현실주의의 영향을 받은 꿈과 무의식의 이미지를 통해 환상과 신비의 세계를 작품화 하였으며 작품에 나타난 기호 속에 단순한 의미를 초월한 상징을 형상화 한다. 붙여 넣고 흙의 질감으로 두텁게 칠해진 살갗에 상처가 가득한 인간의 충격적인 이미지는 이 시대의 고통 받는 사람들을 공감하고 있으며 ‘벽’의 이미지를 통해 자신의 존재까지 동일한 가치로 두는 ‘물질’에 대한 그의 관심을 나타내며 벽을 통하여 작가가 나타내고자 하는 다른 세계의 문이라는 것을 표현한다. 또한 오브제의 사용하여 산업화된 기술 형태의 시각적 효과나 선전보다는 인간의 삶을 실제 사용했던 물질을 자신의 작품에 표현하여 오브제의 이중적 의미를 작품에 내포하고 있으며 밤색과 회색, 붉은색, 청색 등의 색채를 사용하여 작품에 따라 강렬하고 모호한 분위기를 조성하며 어둡고 잔혹하고 침울한 분위기를 표현한다. 따라서 따삐에스의 예술 세계는 우리들에게 새로운 시각을 제시하며 그 시대와 사회의 진실이 살아 있는 외면세계의 증언일 뿐 아니라 독특한 사색 과정을 통해 얻어진 내면세계가 표현되었다는 점에서 예술적 가치를 높이 평가하고 있다. 그러므로 현대 미술에 있어서 따삐에스의 독특한 표현 방법은 현대 미술을 이해하는데 중요한 자료로 인식되어야 한다.|20 century present-day fine arts with free protection against the cold expression method in the artist the expression method which is various because provides the imaginative power which is infinite appears in the work of art today, from the which understands the fine arts is with the subject which is important must know. My thesis researches the artistic world of Spanish artist Antoni Tapies, born in 1923. Tapies has expanded the vocabulary of modern art though works that overcome the limitations of traditional materials. The artist employs heterogeneous painting techniques, pursuing originality and variety by applying mixed media such as sand, varnish, marble dust to canvas and by such surface techniques as punching, cutting, and scratching the canvas. Tapies has been influenced by the rebellious spirit of his native Catalonia as well as by the Zen philosophy of empty space. Vestiges of Surrealism are reflected in his use of fantasy and in the visualization of mystics through images of dreams and the subconscious. Shocking images of scarred human beings against a thickly textured earth are symbols of the artist’s empathy for human suffering. Tapies’s images of ‘wall’represents his interest in ‘physical matter’as an equivalent to his personal existence. His ‘wall’is a door to another world. The found objects that Tapies used in his paintings serve less as visual effects or representations of industrial materials as they do the actual materials that have been used in human lives through which the artist implies double meanings. The use of brown, gray, red, and blue create a vibrant and obscure mood in which his works express dark, brutal, and oppressive thoughts. It presents the fresh eye the art world of the tapies consequently in us and only verbal evidence one of the looking away world which that truth of the society are living it the puts process which is unique it gets and when position it out and the world was expressed height is evaluating an art value from point.
