상아질 및 백악질 관련 세포주에서 OD314의 분포에 관한 연구

There was lots of works to identify the cellular factors (specific gene or master gene) and their functions related with tooth development and differentiation, but the mechanism and function for the controls of each factors in cellular environment were still unclear. Recently OD314 has been identified as a odontoblast specific gene that might be have a function such as regeneration and differentiation, however this also has not been clue for its function in cells. In previous report we have described that OD314 may play a important role in mineralization process of odontoblast and also regulate odontoblast-related genes such as OC, ON, and DSPP. However, we need some broad speculation for this function to draw out exact cellular functions.
Therefore, using various cell lines related with odontoblast, cementoblast, and preosteoblast (NIH3T3, MDPC23, OD11, OCCM30, MC3T3-E1) we have conducted immunofluoresence microscopical analysis using OD314 antibody with DAPI and confirmed the protein expression of OD314 in nucleus using western blotting.
From the results we suggest that OD314 is a potential factor as described below hypothesis.
1) Outgrowth and differentiation related protein?
2) Migration related protein?
3) Trafficking related protein?
4) Forcal contact related protein?
5) Nucleus membrane protein?
