An Empirical study on the Effectiveness of vocational
Education Program

The effects and effectiveness of training employees who are in contact with customers are directly linked to service quality and, in this sense,training transfer performance is greatly important for service businesses the present study purposed to examine factors of training programs that affect the successful transfer of training executed In addition, it attempted to determine the importance of organizational situation in evaluating the effectiveness training by identifying the effects of the characteristics of organizational situation on the relation between training and training transfer.
In order to attain the purposes of this research,we reviewed previous researches as well as relevant theories and derived a research model and hypotheses on the relation between the factors of training programs and training transfer.
This study tried to examine the effects of outplacement services on departing and remaining employees with the sample of 181 employees private organizations
In analyzing collected data,we used SPSS 12.0,and performed regression analysis to test hypotheses on the direct relation between the factors of training programs and training transfer and hierarchical regression analysis to test hypotheses on the adjusting effect of organizational characteristics. In addition,we performed tset-t and ANOV A to examine differences in the factors of training programs and transfer according to demo graphical characteristics
The results of the analysis are summarized as follows.
First,the relation between the quality of trainers and training transfer was statistically significant. This means that the usability of training in the business field is higher when trainees' response to trainers are positive.
Second,the relation between trainees' motive for learning and training transfer was statistically significant. This means that performance resulting from the application of the contents of learning in the field is higher when trainee’s motive for learning before or during training is high. Accordingly, the family restaurants should make various systematic efforts to enhance trainees' motive for learning.
Third,according to the result of analyzing the adjusting effect of organizational situation on the relation between the factors of training program and training transfer, the adjusting effect of the superior’s support appeared in the relations between the quality level of management education and training transfer and between service education and transfer. In addition, according to the result of testing the adjusting effect of continuous learning culture, training transfer was higher when the quality level of service education was high. This suggests that
training transfer will be higher if atmosphere is prepared so that trainees can display what they have learned in service education such as new techniques, knowledge and attitudes.
The limitations of this study and directions for future research are as follows.
In future research, it is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of training in consideration of the characteristics
If various factors affecting transfer are identified fittingly to the characteristics of the family restaurants and demonstrative researches are made on adequately sampled hospitality businesses, we may expect more substantial training programs
