Abstract

It is commonly agreed that the shipbuilding industry in Korea contributes to the national wealth in various ways. This study is to solve a crisis facing our nation to secure competitive power of the shipbuilding industry in western-southern region. To solve manpower problems of the shipbuilding industry, first of all, it is very impotent to cultivate men of talent. Therefore, educational program to make expert in the field is necessary. This study suggests solutions for phenomena and problem in western-southern region.. The results have proven the significance of the shipbuilding industry in western-southern region. and how much it improves business performance by the safety growth. Moreover, there are suggestions of the secure competitive power causes . This study gives a great meaning in analyzing a real case of the western-southern region. and suggesting solutions. It will be helpful for the shipbuilding industry in the long run. In this study, to solve competitive power of the shipbuilding industry in western-southern region, the problem is presented and drawn up a revitalization plan.
