시 짓기와 철학하기 : 철학적 해석학의 횔덜린 수용사

Abstract

논문은 하이데거와 가다머의 횔덜린 시와 정신세계의 수용사 그리고 여기에 내재하는 그들 사이의 차이를 다룬다. 하이데거는 첫 번째 횔덜린 소환과 함께 정치적으로 실패한 독일정신혁명을 철학적으로 달성하고자 하였으며, 두 번째 횔덜린 소환으로 그는 기술문명비판과 자본주의정신 비판을 수행했다. 이에 반해 가다머에게 횔덜린은 하이데거에게서처럼 자기철학 구상을 위한 수단이 아니라, 해석학적 이해의 해석대상이다. 가다머는 횔덜린의 시와 정신세계를 다시 해석의 무대에 세움으로써 횔덜린이 마땅히 차지해야 할 정신사에서의 위치를 찾아 주고자 했다. 다음으로 하이데거가 두 번째 횔덜린을 소환했을 때, 하이데거의 눈앞의 세계는 기술문명과 자본의 위협 앞에 발가벗겨 놓여있는 파국직전의 세계였다. 따라서 하이데거는 세계의 종말 직전에 간절히 고대하는 “최후의 신”의 도래를 기다리는 종말론적 사유특성을 가지고 있다. 그러나 가다머는 영향사적 의식의 무한 개방성을 횔덜린의 ‘회상’에서 발견하며 횔덜린과 더불어 종말론을 거부한다. 마지막으로 하이데거는 “천둥번개”로 말하는 신의 언어가 창조하는 존재와 이렇게 창조된 존재의 위력 앞에서의 침묵의 필연성을 말하지만, 가다머는 끝없는 말과 말 사이의 상호 교섭에서의 의미지평의 무한진행과 이행을 보장하는 대화의 필연성을 주장한다.

The German philosophical pattern in the early 20th century is divided into two different camps that accepted the German ramanticism, especially Hölderlin-receptor. On the one hand, it is camp that we call ‘philosophical hermeneutic’, on the other hand, is what we call the critical theory. Before we deal with the receptor of critical theory, the paper focuses on the acceptance of Hölderlin‘s speculative poetry and the problem of Wirkungsgeschichte in ’philosophical hermeneutic‘. And then the paper discusses Hölderlin’s wirkungsgeschichtliche acceptance in the thought of philosophical hermeneutic, through this, it intend to overcome the conflict between poetry and philosophy to find the truth of poetic literature. Finally discuss the difference between Heidegger‘s ontological philosophy and Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutic in Hölderlin-acceptance. The difference is as follows. 1. Heidegger tried to sublimate Hölderlin’s poetry into a horizon of German idealism philosophy. 2. From Heidegger’s point of view is Hölderlin more of a philosopher than a poet. 3. Eventually, from Heidegger’s ontological philosophy, Hölderlin‘s art world was exiled to the periphery of the debate. In Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneuic, 1. Hölderlin‘s speculative poetry is interpreted as a poetic literature that embody the awareness of one’s own times. 2. Hölderlin’s view of the role of poetry and poet in a new era is reinterpreted upon modern needs.
