Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the measurement sensitivity of an acceleration sensor for active noise canceling (ANC) technology. Two-story buildings were designed and the measurement sensitivity of three sensors was analyzed and compared. To investigate the measurement sensitivity of the sensor under the same environment, three sensors were installed at different positions of 0, 0.5, and 1 m, respectively, from the noise source. As a result, the sensor sensitivity of measurement was high when they were placed near the noise source, but the sensitivity decreased as the distance from the noise source increased. The measurement sensitivity of sensors between 0.5 and 1 m was almost similar. To evaluate the measurement sensitivity of sensors according to the attachment method, the adhesion method using the tape and bolts were compared. There was no significant change observed according to the attachment method. Therefore, the distance from the noise source and the sensor type had a more significant impact on the measurement sensitivity of the sensor.
